GPT-5.5, GPT-5.4, and Codex from OpenAI are now generally available on Amazon Bedrock

GPT-5.5 represents OpenAI's most advanced model, optimized for autonomous coding tasks, data analysis, and multi-step workflows, while running on Bedrock's next-generation inference engine designed for enterprise-grade performance and reliability. The integration includes comprehensive developer tooling through the Codex App, CLI interface, and direct IDE integrations with Visual Studio Code, JetBrains, and Xcode, all configurable to route inference requests through Bedrock's infrastructure.
