Intuitive Machines to Acquire Goonhilly Earth Station and COMSAT

Intuitive Machines, the lunar exploration company trading on Nasdaq under the ticker LUNR, has announced plans to acquire Goonhilly Earth Station and COMSAT to expand its space-to-Earth communications capabilities. The acquisition represents a strategic move to build out the company's ground-based infrastructure for supporting space missions and satellite communications. Goonhilly Earth Station, located in Cornwall, UK, operates one of the world's largest satellite earth stations and has been involved in everything from early Apollo missions to modern deep space communications. COMSAT brings additional satellite communication capabilities to the combined entity.
