AWS Billing Conductor launches Passthrough Pricing Plan for Billing Transfer users

AWS has launched a new Passthrough Pricing Plan for its Billing Conductor service, specifically designed for customers using Billing Transfer functionality. The new managed pricing plan allows all accounts within a billing group to view billable data that directly reflects AWS invoice values through their primary interface, eliminating pricing modifications or customizations that might obscure actual costs. Customers can implement the Passthrough Pricing Plan through the Bill-Transfer account interface when configuring new transfers, or apply it to existing billing groups via the AWS Billing Conductor Console. Once configured, the Bill-Transfer account will display identical billing data across both My View and Showback/Chargeback interfaces associated with the billing group's resource consumption. The feature targets direct customers and channel partners who want to centralize billing and streamline payment processes without hiding proprietary discounts or modifying billing data visibility for accounts within their billing groups. AWS offers this Passthrough Pricing option at no additional charge, with availability currently limited to the US East (N. Virginia) region through the AWS Billing and Cost Management Console.
